- Seiichi Yamura held a press conference from Shin-Kiba 1st Ring to announce the entire 04/24 "DAUNTLESS" card, which has been sold out for several weeks.
The big news sees Yamura himself once again in the main event, battling Chojin Devils kingpin Masao Ishii, in direct retaliation to Ishii's attacks on Yamura back on 4/10. However, the card is loaded from top to bottom...
Ichimi Gun (Seiichi Yamura)
"DAUNTLESS ~ TSUKYO BENEFIT RALLY"
04/24/10 - Tokyo Shin-Kiba 1st Ring
1. Yasuo Okizawa (debut) & Jorge Uchida (debut) vs. Keisuke Rongai & Wataru Yamada
- The freelance "HOT LIMIT" team of Rongai and Yamada had been chosen to face debuting Okizawa and Uchida. Said Yamura, "HOT LIMIT are looking to revitalize their careers, while Okizawa and Uchida are beginning theirs. This match seemed like the most logical for all four men."
2. SKYSCRAPER COLLIDE: Koki Akita vs. Mikio Tsuruya
- Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON continues to support TSUKYO, once again lending Tsuruya. His opponent this time will be cult favorite "Suntanned Superman" Koki Akita, who hasn't had a match in some time, having pursued a (failed) career in bodybuilding.
3. UEDA TEST: Jin Hiroto vs. Mineo Ueda
- Mineo Ueda gets his wish, as "Death Agent" Jin Hiroto steps into the Ichimi ring to face the young prospect! Yamura stated, "Hiroto is feared across Japan for his toughness. Ueda will receive some priceless experience here...I have to admit I'm jealous, because I'd like to face Hiroto myself!"
4. ARE YOU DEVIL?: Katsuo Ishida vs. Shino Nakao
- Yamura: "Despite Ishii's cowardly antics, I have granted Ishida and Nakao their match. Not because I care who winds up a member of their schoolyard gang, but because I believe the two will put on an interesting match for the crowd in attendance."
5. WHO KNOWS BURNING: Kenji Yujiro vs. Ichiro Tsuji
- Burning Dojo graduate Tsuji's opponent will be the son of his trainer, Kenji Yujiro! Both men are graduates of the elder Yujiro's Osaka dojo, and will display that style in the Ichimi ring.
6. DANGER MAN TRIBUTE - STAIRWAY TO HELL, GLASS TABLE SCRAMBLE: Tetsuhiro Kaneda & Daichi Matsumoto vs. Shun'en Ogiwara & Hiromi Hasegawa
- In a tribute to TSUKYO, four Ichimi loyalists will go to war in a violent death match! In this, a barbed-wire wrapped baseball bat will dangle from the air, while tables made of glass will be set up throughout the ringside area. A ladder will be provided, and the bat must come into play before the contest can be settled! Yamura said, "All four of these men have displayed a deep love of the Ichimi style. On the 24th, that love will be put to the test!" This is also notable as it is former Deadly Tokyo dojo graduate Kaneda's first deathmatch; he outright refused to participate in them during his stay there a decade ago.
7. Seiichi Yamura vs. Masao Ishii
- Finally, Yamura will look for some measure of revenge at Ishii here, representing the Ichimi Army against a vocal detractor. Yamura commented on the attack by Masao Ishii directly after the 4/10 "NEVER DIE" rally, saying, "Ishii has proven himself again and again to be a coward. He's always either jumping someone from behind, or running around in junior-heavyweight promotions (referring to Visual Spirit Promotions) trying to bully someone. He says he wants the main event...well, he has it!"

"NEVER DIE ~ TSUKYO BENEFIT RALLY"
04/10/10 - Tokyo Shin-Kiba 1st Ring
450 Fans (Sellout)
Seiichi Yamura spoke to the crowd before the event began. He thanked the crowd for their attendance, noting that all tickets for both benefit rallies had sold out in advance, despite the tumultuous economy and general unpopularity of puroresu (especially independents). He thanked all of the wrestlers for participating tonight, especially Ichimi Gun members who were working for free.
He then introduced TSUKYO, who entered to "Blood" waving the Ichimi Army flag to a thunderous applause. "TSU-KY-OH!" chants were difficult to die down, the Shibuya Danger Man taking the mic with tears in his eyes. He thanked the puroresu community for their support, and announced that he had a final appointment with his neurologist on the 23rd, and would be able to announce his future more clearly on the 04/24 event! With that, the matches for the evening began.
1. Masao Ishii & Katsuo Ishida beat Shino Nakao & Mineo Ueda (7:34) when Ishida pinned Ueda after a Jackhammer. (**)
- Both Ishida and Nakao appear to have bulked up since their more recent appearances, Ishida now a true heavyweight and Nakao looking fierce, complete with a wild looking afro. He and Ueda played the firey underdogs, but their personal issues got in the way towards the end. Nakao eventually hit Ueda with a lariat out of frustration, leading to Ishida's Jackhammer.
[INTERVIEWS:]
- Nakao: "Fuck little Ueda! [...] Maybe I should join up with the Devils...?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Ishii: "Is this what Yamura is paying us for? [...] Forget TSUKYO! If Yamura wants an interesting show, tell him to fight me!"
- Ishida: "I like the way Nakao thinks. If he wants to join us I'll test him next on the , and we'll see if he can!"
2. Mikio Tsuruya beat Shun'en Ogiwara (10:07) with the Akuji Backdrop. (**)
- Tsuruya, the formerly awkward heavyweight out of the Sakaigama Puroesu Gumi, has recently bloomed into his own as a top-tier member of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. This was sort of a homecoming for Tsuruya, having competed on Victory Japan and Ichimi Gun shows in the past. He caught a fair amount of trouble from the always violent Ogiwara, and there was bloodshed from both men after a brawl around the 1st Ring. Tsuruya won out a chair-shot duel in the end, before dunking the Yokohama Dragon with a vicious backdrop.
[INTERVIEWS:]
- Tsuruya: "I was glad to come back and show support for TSUKYO. I'm excited to be on the next show as well."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Ogiwara: "What happened to that little shit from Sakaigama's dojo?! [...] I'll get him next time!"
3. Akitoshi Mikami, DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito beat Shinji Oshima, Masa Adachi & Joshyn Hasagawa (12:54) when Ito pinned Hasagawa after the Gekijin elbow drop. (***)
- Something of a throwback match to Hokkaido Puroresu, the Osaka City Heidan continuing to cause trouble for the Hokkaido faithful. Monsterous DOKUGA received a heavy amount of boos, as it was he who ended TSUKYO's last match via referree stop at Hokkaido Puroresu's final rally. The upstart team of Oshima and Adachi showed off some double-team tactics, but couldn't overcome the OCH's experience. Ito picked up a big personal win, finally pinning veteran Hasagawa with his diving elbow.
[INTERVIEWS:]
- DOKUGA: "Hokkaido may be dead but we'll always be around to beat those jackasses! [...] Speaking of, isn't this where little Hiromi spends his time lately? I'll never get tired of spilling his blood!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Hasagawa: "I don't pretend to understand TSUKYO's style...but I hope he gets better!"
A short intermission was held here. TSUKYO once again spoke over the house mic. He pointed out former Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling CEO/President Koji Tanaka in the crowd, who received skeptical applause. Tanaka-san joined TSUKYO in the ring and commended him for, as he put, "inspiring such a devout following." He announced that he would personally see that TSUKYO's medical coverage was paid for, and urged TSUKYO to return to action if possible.
Tanaka then introduced the two men set to debut on 4/24, Yasuo Okizawa and Jorge Uchida. He read their stats to the crowd:
Yasuo Okizawa
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 193 lbs
Date of Birth: 12/19/1981
Place of Birth: Fujimi, Saitama
Background: An amaresu standout during his school years, Okizawa approached Yujiro about training in the Burning Dojo when his bid to enter the Japanese 2004 Athens Olympic wrestling team failed. He trained with Yujiro from November 2004 until Burning Spirit's most recent cease of opperations. After BSPW folded Okizawa continued to represent his country in amaresu competition.
Statement: "My aim is to take the puroresu community by storm; look forward to seeing me!"
Jorge Uchida
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 157 lbs.
Date of Birth: 09/10/90
Place of Birth: "Mexico City, Hokkaido"
Background: Claiming to hail from Mexico City, Hokkaido native Shinichi "Jorge" Uchida professes a love of his "home" country, along with tequila and the sport of surfing.
Statement: "I want to study lucha libre, but this will do for now!"
Both men shook hands and promised to aim high with their careers.
4. Tetsuhiro Kaneda & Daichi Matsumoto beat Kenji Yujiro & Hiromi Hasegawa (13:43) when Matsumoto pinned Hasegawa after the Fujin-ikou Powerbomb. (**3/4)
- The CHAOTICS team had their work cut out for them against two of the indy scene's toughest. Yujiro and Hasegawa carried Ichimi flags, and used them as weapons during the bought. Kaneda and Matsumoto's experence would prove to be too much to overcome in the end; Kaneda ducked the Yujiro Bomber and threw Kenji with a half-nelson suplex, as Daichi nearly powerbombed Hasegawa out of his boots.
[INTERVIEWS:]
- Tetsuhiro Kaneda: "TSUKYO and I have been friends for a long time; I'm glad to help him out."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Hiromi Hasegawa: "Damn, that kid is strong! [...] It's been a while since there's been an independent card of note...I try with my small shows, but this felt nice! [...] Yes, I heard what DOKUGA said. If he wants to continue our little war after all of this time, he knows where to find me."
5. Seiichi Yamura beat Taro Nakayama (26:12) with the Kagemusha. (***1/4)
- Two of the Ichimi Gun's top loyalists met in the main event, and fought hard in the name of their fallen friend. Both men entered draped in the Ichimi Army flag, and shook hands before the bout. The moment the bell rang their demeanor change, as they began trading heavy elbow shots to the crowd's applause. As with many Ichimi matches the fight eventually spilled outside, with several chairs and a table being brought out. They brawled for a few minutes, Nakayama finally having enough and rolling Yamura inside (along with the table). Back in he leveled Seiichi with a knee kick before setting up the table in the corner. He tried to whip Yamura into it, but found it reversed, Nakayama crashing hard into the table but not breaking it! Yamura climbed to the top as the 10 minute gong was called, and attempted a missile dropkick, but Taro dodged out of the way. Yamura tried to scramble up but Taro was waiting, charging off the ropes and leveling him with an elbow smash. He set the table up mid-ring, rolling Yamura onto it. Taro went up and let out a scream, before leaping off with a diving body press...only for Yamura to roll out of the way, Nakayama this time crashing through the middle of the table! Yamura got to his feet as Taro tried to prop himself back up, clutching his stomach, but Yamura backed up and nearly kicked his teeth in with the Bousatsu! Nakayama fought through the pain and got to a knee, but Yamura was relentless, charging in and decking him with the Hagakure! Yamura made the cover...but Nakayama kicked out at 2.9! He pulled Nakayama up and attempted to lift the big man into the Kagemusha, but Nakayama elbowed out of it, before knee-kicking him point blank in the jaw! Yamura staggered back and was scooped up by Nakayama, who dunked him on his head with a death valley bomb! He made a cover of his own, but Yamura managed to shoulder up at 2.9, the 1st Ring crowd shouting calls for both men. Nakayama slapped the mat in frustration and went up top for another diving body press. This time Yamura would get his knees up, Taro crashing stomach-first! Yamura wasted no time, pulling Nakayama up and hauling him into the Kagemusha! He made a cover...but Nakayama stubbornly threw him off at 2.5! Both men rolled to their feet, Yamura beating Nakayama to the punch and kicking him with another Bousatsu! Nakayama let out a battle cry and slapped the mat, refusing to go down, but took another stiff kick to the face! He appeared out on his feet, Yamura scooping him up and dunking him with another Kagemusha! This time his cover found three counts, Nakayama finally staying down!
Afterwards the two men shook hands and hug mid-ring to applause. They were joined by TSUKYO, who lead the crowd in an "I-CHI-MI!" chant to close out the evening...
[INTERVIEWS:]
- Seiichi Yamura: "That was a war...thank you Taro! [...] Tonight was a complete success...we will announce the card for 4/24 soon!"
-------------
- Taro Nakayama: "Yamura has grown much stronger...hopefully, I have as well. [...] It is my prayer that TSUKYO will return to the ring. The puroresu community, especially the independents, need a figurehead with his passion."

TSUKYO Benefit Rallies Planned!
- In a press conference called outside of the Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo, Ichimi Gun member and independent mainstay Seiichi Yamura announced plans for two self-funded weekend rallies, with profits going to pay Ichimi Gun kingpin TSUKYO's extensive doctor bills. TSUKYO's last match (09/15/07 at Hokkaido Puroresu's final rally, "GAIKOKUJOU LIVE") saw the "Shibya Danger Man" collapse mid-bout and immediately rushed to the hospital. Doctors feared that he had suffered major head trauma, beginning with his match against "Mr. Puroresu" Yoshikazu Kanda at the Ichimi Gun's 04/14/07 Korakuen Hall rally, and the resulting treatment has lead to TSUKYO having to take a "day job" to pay his bills. It is unknown if the "Shibuya Danger Man" will ever return to action, but he will make his first public since 2007 at the event, as the Ichimi army rally behind their leader.
Yamura himself will face Taro Nakayama, formerly of Pro-Wrestling FURY and recently of the Ichimi Army, in the main event of the first evening0. The Chojin Devils and CHAOTICS unit will also be present, as well as six competitors from Kuniyuki Ohmiya's short-lived Hokkaido Puroresu. Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Mikio Tsuruya is also scheduled to compete on both shows.
Matches for the second card will be announced in between events. This will be the first series of Ichimi Gun re-lated rallies since the aforementioned 04/14/07 event, which featured the in-ring return of "Mr. Puroresu" Yoshikazu Kanda, arguably Japan's most popular star at the time. Kanda will not be present, but will be dispatching Kanda Office protege Ichiro Tsuji to night two.

Hokkadio Puroresu - "GAIKOKUJOU LIVE: HOKKAIDO PARADISE 2007"
Hokkaido Puroresu (PERFECT CHOICE PPV)
"GAIKOKUJOU LIVE: HOKKAIDO PARADISE 2007"
09/15/07 - Sapporo Teisen Hall
1,362 Fans
1. KOBUSHI VS. GAIKOKUJOU: Joshyn Hasagawa beat Yasushi Ito (9:50) with a sunset flip. (*3/4)
- The opening bout saw OCH's Ito nearly take Hasagawa to the ten minute time limit, and even score a few near falls. Crafty Hasagawa stayed one step ahead, and after elbowing out a wasitlock he cracked Ito with an enzuigiri, before leaping over cradling him just ten seconds before the time limit! Ito refused to accept defeat, and low blowed out of a handshake afterwards...
2. UPSIRING: Shinji Oshima beat Masa Adachi (9:06) with the Drug Bomb. (**1/2)
- Two men struggling to find places for themselves met in their third recent match, having previously tied 1-1. Adachi again displayed advanced technique for his experience level, but Oshima countered an attempted hurricanrana into the Drug Bomb (powerbomb~facebuster) to take the win. Afterwards the two shook hands, and Oshima surprisingly made an offer to team with Adachi! Adachi accepted, the two shaking hands.
3. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT - SEMI FINAL: Jin Hiroto & Yoshihiro Shimoda beat KAZUKI & Taku Shizuma (13:49) when Shimoda made Shizuma submit to the Sapporo Lancer. (**3/4)
- The first of two tournament matches for the vacated Sapporo City Tag Titles saw perhaps Hokkaido's two most powerful defeat the up and coming KAZUKI and Shizuma. Despite KAZUKI's recent surge few fans had their doubts over the winners here, but the Sakaigama Gumi team still managed to impress, KAZUKI at one point nearly downing Shimoda with the Skyjin. The "Gods of Hokkaido" rallied by isolating Shizuma, Hiroto dropping him with a goardbuster to set up Shimoda's Sapporo Lancer. KAZUKI nearly saved but was cut right off by Hiroto, Shizuma pushed to his limit.
4. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT - SEMI FINAL: Tsuyoshi Yamamura & Satoru Watanabe beat Yusuke Yuhara & Yuichi Hida (21:03) when Yamamura pinned Hida after a sliding knee kick. (***1/2)
- The second semi-final was far more drawn out. The two teams did not take their opportunity to shine on a national stage lightly, and weaved a tense match that built to an exciting conclusion. Yuhara and Hida controlled large portions with their lucha libre flavored matwork, Hida at one point turning a rolling cradle against Yamamura into a painful submission that involved a neckscissored ankle hold. WataYama would turn the tides their way after a massive double avalanche suplex onto Yuhara, effectively taking him out for the next couple of minutes. Focusing on Hida, they picked him apart with a chop (Watanabe) / kick (Yamamura) corner rush, Watanabe then throwing him with a belly to belly suplex for 2 1/2. Hida took some punishment for the next few minutes, but reversed a Watanabe tilt-a-whirl slam into a satellite headscissors before making the hot tag to Yuhara. Yuhara appeared to be favoring his back and it was quickly exploited, Watanabe ducking under a shotei and leveling him ram-style with a headbutt mid-back. Yuhara rolled outside, Watanabe relentlessly pouncing on him with a tope suicida. Yamamura and Hida charged in, Hida ducking a spinning heel kick, only for Yamamura to land back on his feet and level him with a roundhouse kick! Yamamura hit the ropes as Hida pulled himself up, just in time to catch a knee kick to the jaw, Yamamura collapsing onto him to advance!
5. OSAKA CITY STREETFIGHT: Akitoshi Mikami & DOKUGA beat KEIJI & TSUKYO [Ichimi Army] (09:05) via referee stop. (*3/4)
- Ichimi Army kingpin TSUKYO made a risky move by placing himself (in his current injured state) in the middle of the war between the SPG and Osaka City Heidan. TSUKYO's bravery/idiocy of continuing to wrestle (depending on whom you ask) has been the talk of the puroresu community in recent weeks, the Shibuya Danger Man in and out of the hospital on several occasions due to a massive concussion suffered at the hands of "Mr. Puroresu" Yoshikazu Kanda on the Ichimi Gun's 4/14/07 rally. TSUKYO was greated with a loud reaction, he and KEIJI entering to TSUKYO's "blood" theme. They wouldn't make it to the ring, as Mikami and DOKUGA charged from the back with steel chairs, beating them down the ramp! The fight took off into the crowd, Mikami and KEIJI brawling as DOKUGA laid into TSUKYO. DOKUGA pressing TSUKYO up, shouting "Here is your hero!" before throwing him into members of the crowd! Back in the ring KEIJI and Mikami slugged it out, KEIJI gaining the upperhand before throwing Mikami with an Exploder for a two count. DOKUGA ran in and struck KEIJI from behind with a chair, as Mikami rolled outside to grab one for himself. They took turns taking their strikes, before setting KEIJI up for a Conchairto attack...only for KEIJI to duck under, the chairs striking together! KEIJI took Mikami down with a spinning heel kick as TSUKYO made his entrance to the ring, producing a chain and whipping DOKUGA in the back! TSUKYO latched onto DOKUGA's back, piggy-backing himself up and choking him with the chain as a few Ichimi diehards began to call his name. KEIJI and Mikami rolled out to brawl, DOKUGA locked in the Ichimi-style camel clutch! It wouldn't last long, DOKUGA deadlifting TSUKYO up and tossing him down hard over his shoulders. TSUKYO slowly staggered up, appearing dazed, as DOKUGA charged off the rope and nearly took his head off with an enzuilariat! TSUKYO landed at a weird angle, and within moments it was clear that he was knocked completely unconcious...Referee Yoshida stepped in, immediately stopping the match.
The scene around ringside was chaotic in the moments after the bell, ring doctors rushing in to check on TSUKYO. Though they were able to revive him, TSUKYO was stretchered out as all 1,000+ fans called his name in support...
6. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT - FINAL: Jin Hiroto & Yoshihiro Shimoda beat Tsuyoshi Yamamura & Satoru Watanabe (13:12) when Hiroto pinned Yamamura after the Amatsukami Guillotine. (***) (Third Champions)
- The tag tournament came down to the "Gods of Hokkaido" against the hungry WataYama, who almost certainly didn't get the lengthy rest they were hoping for after their grueling semi-final contest. Yamamura showed early on that his team weren't to be taken lightly, however, as after testing the water by a middle kick exchange with Shimoda he swung a huge high kick out of nowhere, Shimoda dropping to his knees! Yamamura took off and tried his sliding knee kick, Shimoda rolling away just in time! Both men tagged out, Hiroto wasting no time in pummeling Watanabe, charging in and attacking with middle kicks. It was obvious that the "Death Agent" was taking the chance to regain the Sapporo City Tag Titles quite seriously, as he did his best to effenciently dispatch Watanabe and leave no openings. Watanabe showed excellent heart in taking Hiroto's punishment but was clearly still exhausted from the previous match. This would be he and Yamamura's downfall, as Hiroto and Shimoda wore them out further with painful stretch holds before zoning in on Yamamura for the kill. They debuted a tandem finish, Shimoda striking from the front with the Torokeru knee as Hiroto clipped Yamamura with a leg lariat. Yamamura took a nasty bump and Hiroto covered with one foot, Shimoda fending off Watanabe!
The new champions were presented with their belts by Kuniyuki Ohmiya, along with a giant check for 100,000 yen. Hiroto spoke over the mic, saying that his "rebirth" was nearly complete, and threw his name in the hat as a potential challenger to the winner of Sakaigama vs. Yujita!
7. WPJ INDEPENDENT WELTERWEIGHT TITLE: Yoshi Yujita beat KANJI Sakaigama [C] (17:49) with the Mujou. (***1/2) (Seventh Champion)
- Three years after their first singles contest for the WPJ gold, Yoshi Yujita once again challenged former mentor Sakaigama. Both men were flanked by their respective groups, but that quickly went array as Akitoshi Mikami went straight for KEIJI, causing both sides to battle it out ringside! Referee Yoshida attempted to restore order, but it wasn't until President Ohmiya himself stormed out and demanded both sides head to the back that proper introductions were able to be made. With no seconds other than the ringboys, Sakaigama and Yujita began the match by testing one another on the mat. Yujita became frustrated and slid outside, but Sakaigama attacked out of nowhere with a tope suicida! He tried to whip Yujita into the rail but found it reversed, KANJI crashing against the steel before immediately taking a chair to the face, thrown wrecklessly by Yujita! Back inside Yujita spiked KANJI with a tombstone piledriver for 2 1/2. He with up and connected with a moonsault press, but found only 2.9! Desperate to end things early, Yujita scooped KANJI up for the Mujou, but Sakaigama flipped out onto his feet. Yujita turned, KANJI leaping up and connecting with a Violence Flash enzuigiri! Things slowed back down, Sakaigama working over Yujita's neck with various holds. At the 10 minute gong KANJI tried another Violence Flash, but Yujita ducked out of the way. KANJI stood up into a lariat, Yujita going up for another moonsault press. KANJI rolled out of the way, but Yujita landed on his feet, and as Sakaigama stood he was decked with a second, more powerful lariat for another 2.9! Yujita slugged Sakaigama with elbows and tried an Irish whip, but Sakaigama reversed this time, following him in and connecting with a zero-sen kick to the skull, Yujita toppling out! Ringboys cleared the way as Sakaigama hit the ropes again, and wiped out his former pupil with a spaceman quebrada to a loud applause! Both men with slow in getting up, but after a minute Sakaigama sluggishly rolled Yujita back inside. He measured him for another Violence Flash, but Yujita got a hand up to block, before low-blowing KANJI to the jeers of the crowd. He pulled him to his feet and clubbed him with an enzuilariat, KANJI staggering forward but not falling, Yujita grabbing him from behind and spiking him with the Gaikokujou suplex hold! The crowd counted along with Referee Yoshida, but KANJI squeaked out at 2.9! The Teisen Hall fans stomped their feet in unison, as Yujita pulled KANJI up into another full-nelson. It would be Sakaigama with the low blow this time, kicking Yujita between the legs before hauling him up into the Sex Pistol! KANJI covered a knee across the throat...but Yujita kicked out at 2.9! Frustrated, Sakaigama threw Yujita to the buckle and set him up. He called out for the Death Lake Driver, the crowd at fever pitch, but Yujita threw wild elbows to knock him off balance! Sakaigama staggered, Yujita turning around and kicking him in the jaw, before leaping off the top with a missile dropkick! KANJI stubbornly stood right back up, Yujita doing the same. They stared one another down, KANJI brashly slapping his former pupil in the face. Yujita returned the favor, before clubbing him with a standing lariat! KANJI still stayed up, daring Yujita to hit the ropes. Yujita ablidged, KANJI ducking under the resulting lariat and swinging a high kick, but Yujita ducked that! KANJI spun back around into another low blow, Yujita calling out "Bakayaro!" before dunking him on his head with a _release_ Gaikokujou suplex! "KANJI!" chants came from the crowd, as Sakaigama stumbled up in a daze. He was easy prey for Yujita, who came up from behind and threw him with the Mujou! Yujita hooked both legs, Referee Yoshida diving into the count, KANJI finding no answer this time!
Afterwards, a distraught Sakaigama said that his student had finally matched him. Sakaigama half-heartedly commended himself and Hiroto for "raising the next generation", but somberly admitted that unlike Hiroto, he had failed to reinvent himself for the changing times. Sakaigama then announced that he would travel to America with gaijin ally Seth Andrews for a "prolonged excursion", and would not compete full-time on Japanese soil until he felt he could once again become the "standard-barer" for junior heavyweight wrestling.
Yujita took the mic next, and in tears stated that holding WPJ gold had been a dream of his for some time. Yujita stated, "Like it or not, I have always strove to emulate Sakaigama." He offered his hand, which KANJI accepted to some applause. Yujita slapped Sakaigama's face, and demanded that he "wake from [his] sleep." and come back for the belt. He then called out former ally KEIJI, demanding that he be Yujita's first challenger! The show ended on this note, the fate of Hokkaido Puroresu still undecided.

1. Joshyn Hasagawa beat Atsushi Ono (2:21) with an enzuigiri. (1/2*)
- The 'eternal rivalry' continued here as Joshyn and Ono clashed yet again! Ono appeared his same sleazy self, but was almost escorted out of the building when he attempted to light a cigarette during his entrance. Security pointed out the "NO SMOKING" sign above the entry way, Ono brandishing a chair rather than comply. He made his way to the ring, but before he could continue arguing Joshyn struck with an enzuigiri! The bell rang, Joshyn tying Ono up in a torturous ground cobra twist. Ono eventually made his way to the ropes, and soon after took control with his basic rule breaking offense, eye raking and low blowing. He attempted a DDT but Hasagawa simply shoved him back, before cracking him with another enzuigiri to end the match.
Ono quickly grabbed the microphone afterwards, stopping Joshyn as he left. He removed his wifebeater and blue jeans to reveal tiger-print trunks and kickpads (as well as an incredibly out of shape Ono). Placing a black eye patch (with stereotypical skull & crossbones) over his left eye, Ono said that if Hasagawa could "be himself", he could as well...and declared himself "TA-KAHN-OH", former Mongolian pit fighter?! He challenged Hasagawa to a fight on the spot, which Joshyn accepted to loud ovation!
1b. DIFFERENT STYLE FIGHT: Joshyn Hasagawa beat TA-KAHN-OH (2:12) with a cross armbreaker. (1/2*)
- The mysterious TA-KAHN-OH shot in for a single-leg takedown almost immediately after the bell, but seemed to have no idea what to do after grabbing Joshyn's leg. He merely laid there wrestling with the boot, Joshyn casually stepping out before loudly kicking the "Mongolian pit fighter" in the face! The referee began a 10-count, TA-KAHN-OH showing his veteran fighting spirit by staggering up at 9! He struck a fighting pose and attempted another takedown, but Joshyn stepped to his blind side. TA-KAHN-OH swung around but Joshyn side-stepped again...TA-KAHN-OH quickly switching the patch's eyes and swinging a punch! Joshyn latched on however, threw TA-KAHN-OH with a judo takedown, and applied a cross armbreaker for the near-immediate tapout! Afterwards, TA-KAHN-OH announced he would travel the world for training once more...
2. Masao Ishii, Katsuo Ishida & Power Boy Kasei beat Yoshihiro Shimoda, Yusuke Yuhara & Shinji Oshima (15:09) when Ishii pinned Oshima with a diving body press. (***)
- The first serious match of the show saw the Chojin Devils unit prevail over Hokkaido Puroresu, Shimoda unsuccessfully leading two of Hokkaido's upstarts. Former VSP mainstays Ishii and Yuhara had several exchanges, including a palm strike/elbow smash give-and-take that recalled Ishii vs. TORA Wanizame. Both men refused to budge, Kasei throwing Yuhara with a released German suplex after an Ishii elbow. Team Shimoda appeared to have the match won when Oshima set Ishida up for the Drug Bomb (powerbomb~facebuster), Shimoda springboarding in and striking with a Torokeru knee before the drop. Ishi and Kasei were held back but Ishida shockingly kicked out at 2.9! Oshima went up for the Suicide Bomb but Ishida followed, throwing him with an avalanche belly-to-belly suplex. Ishii chucked Yuhara outside before going up top himself, dropping a diving body press onto Oshima to win it. There was a staredown between Ishii and Shimoda afterwards, and during interviews Shimoda expressed interest in meeting the big man one-on-one.
3. Akihito Suzuki & Roach Hanamizu beat DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito (13:59) when Suzuki pinned Ito after the Fucking Twister. (**3/4)
- The OCH failed in their first of two matches tonight, the MURDER FREAKS combo of Suzuki and Hanamizu outcrafting DOKUGA and Ito. Things looked good for OCH in the early goings, DOKUGA at one point throwing both Suzuki and Hanamizu with a double northern light suplex whip. Eventually DOKUGA was double-teamed and made the hot tag to Ito, who charged in and took both MURDER FREAKS down with elbow smashes. Suzuki rolled outside, DOKUGA whipping Ito to the ropes, Ito using the extra momentum to deck Suzuki with a vicious elbow suicida! Hanamizu dove off the top at DOKUGA but found himself caught, the "Kenka Soldier" showing off his power by hauling Hanamizu into a gorilla press slam. The MUDER FREAKS came back by isolating the inexperienced Ito, DOKUGA eventually having enough and charging in without tag. Referee Shiro Yoshida argued him back onto the apron, which gave Hanamizu plenty of time to grab a chair and smash it over Ito's head! Hanamizu grabbed DOKUGA off of the apron as Suzuki drove Ito down with the Fucking Twister, covering with one foot.
4. KEIJI beat Yuichi Hida (12:38) with the EXCITE Driver. (***)
- Though not an OCH member, indy wanderer KEIJI was given a hero's welcome, stemming from his history with Yujita, Mikami and DOKUGA. Hida attempted a handshake after the bell but KEIJI faked him with an elbow shot, before shoving him into the corner and unloading with stomps. A whip to the other side wasn't as profitable, Hida running up the buckle and backflipping _ONTO_ KEIJI's shoulders before rolling him up with a hurricanrana, KEIJI squeaking out at 2.5! Back up Hida struck with a rolling front cradle for another near-fall, the crowd gradually getting behind him. KEIJI threw Hida to the outside and connected with a tope suicida, the crowd starting some quiet "KEI-JI!" chants that were generally ignored by the man himself. Back inside KEIJI overpowered Hida with an array of suplexes, including an Exploder that garnered a 2.5 count. Hida would catch a hope spot by countering a spiral brainbuster and scoring with the Yoshitonic, but KEIJI kicked out at 2.9 and, back up, drove Hida down with a vicious lariat. He scooped him up into the rarely used EXCITE Driver (inverted Michinoku Driver II), dunking him on his head and covering nonchalantly. Afterwards he left with little fanfare, and refused interviews backstage...
5. Yoshi Yujita & Akitoshi Mikami drew The Visual Spirits (KANJI Sakaigama & Jin Hiroto) (30:00). (***1/2)
- IMP Hall buzzed with anticipation as the main event was announced, and as a "PORNO STAR" / "Saddy" mashup began they were on their feet, heralding the return of the Visual Spirits from 2 year hiatus! Sakaigama and Hiroto appeared with pipe and shinai in hand, eating up the crowd's reaction. Yujita and Mikami were given a similar welcome by their home crowd, but were all business, and (sticking with Yujita's demands) were not followed by the rest of OCH. Flurries of streamers were thrown for both teams, who rushed to center ring and began striking before the canvas was cleared. The Visual Spirits threw Yujita/Mikami outside as the bell rang, IMP Hall becoming a chaotic battle ground for the opening portion of the match. Yujita whipped Sakaigama into the rail and struck with a flurry of chairshots, KANJI staggering into the entrance way. Yujita began mercilessly throwing chairs at his former mentor, KANJI dodging a couple before taking one right to the face, going down in a heap as fans scattered in fear. Meanwhile Hiroto kicked Mikami into oblivion against an opposite rail and charged for a running high kick, but Mikami dodged, Hiroto crotching himself over the rail with force. Mikami leapt off of a nearby chair and connected with an enzuigiri, Hiroto toppling over as ring announcer Yoshinari Inoue warned fans to stay clear. Yujita dragged a now bloody Sakaigama back to ringside, rolling him in and making a cover for 2. Yujita would dominate Sakaigama for the next few minutes, before KANJI managed a hot tag to Hiroto, who slid onto the apron undetected and entered enraged. Hiroto charged Yujita with a running high kick to the face before doing the same to Mikami, knocking him off of the apron. Hiroto delivered another loud kick to Yujita's head to roll him over, before covering with a knee across the neck for two. Hiroto pulled Yujita up into a snap suplex, managing another two count before changing tactics, locking in a cross armbreaker. Mikami tried to break it up but KANJI took him down with a zero-sen kick, before applying the same hold to Yujita's other arm as Mikami rolled outside! Yujita screamed in pain, many fans shouting in support while Mikami franticly slid back in and stomped away at the Visual Spirits to break. Yujita and Mikami shifted things back into their direction, but both Visual Spirits proved hard to isolate on their own, Sakaigama and Hiroto using their experience to avoid being ganged up upon. The match broke into a race to the finish, each wrestler pulling out the bigger moves of their arsenal. With two minutes to go Yujita targeted Sakaigama, dropping him with a Gaikokujou suplex before pulling him up for the Mujou. Hiroto hit the ring, KANJI ducking just in time for Hiroto hit a jumping high kick, Yujita rolling outside. Mikami charged in, Sakaigama stepping off of Hiroto's back to swing a modified Violence Flash, but found it ducked! Hiroto sprung up and aimed a high kick but Mikami dropkicked his other leg, Yujita grabbing Sakaigama and dragging him out to brawl. Hiroto stood back up but Mikami was ready for him, charging in and locking on the Shawn Capture! Hiroto fought violently for the ropes, the countdown beginning, as KANJI tried his best to slide inside, Yujita holding him by a foot! Mikami wrenched back and let out a scream, but Hiroto refused to submit before the time limit expired, the two teams deadlocked! Mikami broke the Shawn Capture and slapped the mat in frustration, Yujita grabbing KANJI by the hair and throwing him into the rail! The Visual Spirits left to a loud ovation, Yujita and Mikami sticking around to call out the rest of the Osaka City Heidan. They sent the crowd off with thanks, and promised to promote again in the future...

NEWS:
- President Ohmiya called a press conference on 6/10 to make several announcements. First, he announced that a deal with PERFECT CHOICE Pay-Per-View had been worked out to air the 9/15 event, live across Japan. This is a big step for Hokkaido Puroresu, who have aired sporadically on Fighting TV Samurai!, but beyond that have had little national exposure.
In light of this, he announced that KANJI Sakaigama and Yoshi Yujita would be kept apart from one another in the Hokkaido Puroresu ring until then, in an attempt to build anticipation for the match. The Visual Spirits vs. Mikami/Yujita 30 minute draw will air on the next Hokkaido Puroresu Samurai! broadcast, as well as a digest of the rest OCH's event.
Finally, Ohmiya announced a tournament for the Sapporo City Tag Titles, the first round of which will begin on 8/18 at the Sapporo Factory Hall, former home of Visual Spirit Promotions. The semi and final rounds will take place at the 9/15 event. Seven Hokkaido Puroresu teams will complete, as well as one from Pro-Wrestling FURY:
Jin Hiroto & Yoshihiro Shimoda
Tsuyoshi Yamamura & Satoru Watanabe
Yusuke Yuhara & Yuichi Hida
DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito
KAZUKI & Taku Shizuma
Joshyn Hasagawa & Shinji Oshima
Masa Adachi & Seth Andrews
Kotaro Ota [FURY] & Fumihiko Shirai [FURY]
- Regarding another Visual Spirits match, both KANJI and Hiroto have remarked that it is likely to happen, but not in the immediate future. With Sakaigama busy with the Sakaigama Gumi and Hiroto focusing on his team with Shimoda, Sakaigama said that the Visual Spirits will "remain asleep" for now...
- Sakaigama also announced details for the Sakaigama Puroresu Gumi's "777 VISUAL RAVE" show on 7/07. Berating Kuniyuki Ohmiya's refusal to allow another preliminary match with Yoshi Yujita, the main event will see members of the Sakaigama Gumi (and an X partner, said by KANJI to be the newest member) against the entire Osaka City Heidan unit. The Ichimi Army will participate as well, kingpin TSUKYO returning from a recent injury to face his old rival in MAX Pro-Wrestling's Tsuyoshi Kyoto. Ichimi Army members Kenji Yujiro and The Dangerer will also wrestle, as well as freelancer Naoyuki Watanabe.

1. Akitoshi Mikami beat Joshyn Hasagawa (8:10) with the Shawn Capture. (**1/4)
- The veteran Joshyn gave Mikami a fair bit of a trouble, the two putting together a quality technical match. Mikami continuously worked over Joshyn's right leg, which paid off with the Shawn Capture.
2. Yusuke Yuhara beat Seth Andrews (10:06) with a shotei. (**1/2)
- Could be considered a big win for Yuhara, who slowly but steadily is climbing the ranks. Andrews troubled him with high flying but Yusuke managed to keep him grounded towards the end, before debuting a vicious shotei to put him down.
3. Yoshihiro Shimoda beat Yasushi Ito (13:48) with the Torokeru Knee kick. (***1/4)
- The best match of the show saw rookie Ito hold well against the "Hokkaido Supernova". The Osaka City Heidan interfered a fair bit, but Shimoda toughed things out and eventually got the upper hand, bombarding Ito with kicks before running him over with the Torokeru Knee.
4. Yoshi Yujita & DOKUGA beat KAZUKI & Nobukazu Niijima [SPG] (8:08) when DOKUGA pinned Niijima after a lariat. (**1/4)
- The Sakaigama Puroresu Gumi's Niijima made an appearance, but didn't seem to help KAZUKI at all against an angry Yujita and DOKUGA. DOKUGA particularly mauled through Niijima, in the end lariating the veteran _twelve_ times in the corner, before pulling him out and taking his head off with one more.
5. Tsuyoshi Yamamura, Satoru Watanabe & Shinji Oshima beat KANJI Sakaigama, Taku Shizuma & Masa Adachi (13:47) when Oshima pinned Adachi after the Drug Bomb. (***)
- A fun, if not amazing Hokkaido vs. Sakaigama Gumi sprint closed out the show. Oshima and Adachi continued their budding rivalry, Oshima continuing to fight out of his slump. He put Adachi away with his Drug Bomb (powerbomb lift~facebuster), but afterwards Adachi challenged him to a "final conclusion" on 9/15, which Oshima accepted.

1. MR. 3.14% 200th ANNIVERSARY ~TRIAL BY FIRE~: Atsuzuma Ojita [OFFICE OJITA] beat Nobukazu Niijima (5:08) with the Ojita Lariat. (*)
- The first match was advertised as an important one for historians, as the "legendary" Atsuzuma Ojita celebrated his 200th anniversary as an active wrestler! Ojita appeared wearing a black "ALWAYS BELIEVE...NEVER RETIRE!!" shirt and Ojita Lariating members of the "press" (clearly Visual Spirit Dojo trainees). KANJI Sakaigama appeared with a microphone, demanding that "senile Ojita" cut it out before the SPG is sued. The match itself was fairly boring, Ojita trying (and failing) to lift Niijima into several power moves. Niijima fought back with a DDT and attempted a backdrop suplex, but Ojita elbowed him in the head. He fired up, running the ropes several times (Niijima continuing to be dazed...) before running out of breath, but he managed to connect with the Ojita Lariat (essentially falling on top of Niijima with arm outstretched), covering for three counts! Afterwards a small confetti cannon was wheeled out and triggered by the same dojo trainees as before, Ojita tearing up and requesting a microphone. KANJI Sakaigama refused, before instructing security to remove Ojita from the building...
2. TSUKYO beat Tsuyoshi Kyoto (10:17) with the Kutabare Tiger Driver. (**1/2)
- Ichimi Army leader TSUKYO was greeted with a loud ovation, returning from injuries sustained facing Yoshikazu Kanda and ZERO Kubota back-to-back. Tsuyoshi Kyoto was booed heavily, TSUKYO immediately endangering his health again by leaping off the top with a plancha as Kyoto entered! TSUKYO dragged Kyoto around ringside, periodically stopping to hammer into him with chops, allowing several fans to do the same. Kyoto would rebound by reversing a whip into the ringpost, before climbing in. TSUKYO grabbed a chair from the crowd and tossed it at Kyoto, who dodged as TSUKYO rolled into the ring. The two traded blows for a few minutes before TSUKYO could get ahold of his chair, clobbering Kyoto over the head (to send the seat flying) before jabbing the metal edges into his forehead to draw blood! TSUKYO went out and grabbed another chair, but upon swinging it at Kyoto found it dropkicked into his face, Kyoto covering for 2. Kyoto fought back with his basic junior's offence, and tried to finish TSUKYO off with the RHYTHM THRUSTER (pumphandle Michinoku Driver II). TSUKYO landed behind, Kyoto turning around into a low blow kick, before TSUKYO finished him off with the Kutabare Tiger Driver.
3. The Dangerer beat Masa Adachi (8:01) with a diving senton. (**3/4)
- Former DANGER junior heavyweight ace The Dangerer guided Adachi to the most impressive singles match of his young career. Adachi arrogantly attacked with a dropkick before the bell, before going to the apron and trying for the Masamasa Kakou. Dangerer threw himself at the top rope as Adachi sprung up, Adachi tripping and falling to the outside! Dangerer took off and hit a tope con hilo, before striking Adachi several times with a chair. Back inside Adachi tied Dangerer up with several cradles but couldn't seal the match, Dangerer eventually going on offence. Adachi held on for a few minutes, but eventually fell to Dangerer's signature diving senton.
4. Jin Hiroto & Naoyuki Watanabe beat Kenji Yujiro & Joshyn Hasagawa (15:02) when Hiroto pinned Hasagawa after a jumping high kick. (***)
- A methodical technical match with very little theatrics. Yujiro and Watanabe showed off some slick mat wrestling early on, but Watanabe tagged out to Hiroto, who began laying into Yujiro with kicks to the chest. Yujiro countered a jumping high kick by swatting it out of the air, tagging out to Hasegawa who charged in with a quick Oklahoma roll, Hiroto squeaking out at 2.5! Yujiro and Hasagawa wore their opponents down with some basic submission holds, including a grounded cobra twist from Yujiro that forced a submission scare out of Watanabe. Hiroto and Watanabe managed to turn the pace up, and took Yujiro out of the action for a while with a sandwich jumping high kick. Hasagawa survived an assault from Watanabe that included a German suplex, Shining Wizard, and inside cradle, but nearly went down to a Dragon suplex hold, Yujiro returning at the last possible moment to break. He dragged Watanabe outside but Hiroto was ready, charging Hasegawa with a leg lariat. Hasagawa staggered to his feet but Hiroto took his head off with a jumping high kick, covering with one foot to take it. Afterwards all four men shook hands and posed for pictures with the ringside press. Hiroto invited Watanabe to enter Hokkaido Puroresu, to either team with he and Shimoda or face Hiroto himself! Watanabe agreed to the idea, and said he'd appeal to President Ohmiya...
5. KANJI Sakaigama, KAZUKI, Taku Shizuma & KEIJI (X) beat Yoshi Yujita, Akitoshi Mikami, DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito (15:10) when KEIJI pinned Ito after the K-265. (***1/4)
- The Sakaigama Gumi's Mr. X was shockingly revealed to be KEIJI, who would take his final step away from EXCITE partners Yujita and Mikami! The moment KEIJI was introduced Yujita ripped the microphone away from Yoshinari Inoue, screaming "KEIJI, what is this?!" Rather than respond the Sakaigama Gumi charged the ring, the bell ringing with all eight men slugging it out! After the brawling settled down Yujita, Mikami, and DOKUGA all seemed to focus their attacks on (former?) friend KEIJI, isolating the former VioMAX member in their corner and blatantly ganging up him. KEIJI would break free with a flurry of dropkicks, before tagging out to Sakaigama. KANJI charged in and cleared house with zero-sen kicks, setting up a four-sides pescado from all four members of the Gumi! OCH rallied together and managed to re-grain control, DOKUGA and Yujita rolling KEIJI and Shizuma inside before connecting with a duel lariat. A double cover got two, Yujita standing up to repeatedly stomp KEIJI in the head, screaming "traitor" and other such insults. Yujita tombstoned KEIJI for a 2.5 count, before going up and attempting a moonsault press. KEIJI threw himself at the buckle and took Yujita back down with an avalanche reverse suplex, before locking him in a crossface hold. KANJI, KAZUKI and Shizuma cut off the OCH, KEIJI kicking out the bottom rope to allow extra leverage. KEIJI broke the hold when Yujita refused to quit, Yujita low blowing KEIJI as he stood and tagging out to Mikami. KEIJI tagged KAZUKI, who charged in with a hurricanrana whip to a big pop. It would come down to KEIJI and rookie Ito in the end. Ito landed out of KEIJI's spiral brainbuster attempted and clocked him with a running elbow smash for 2.5. Ito went up top and attempting a diving elbow drop with impressive height, but KEIJI rolled out of the way. Back up KEIJI kicked Ito in the stomach and dunked him on his head with the K-265, covering with one foot to take it.

NEWS:
- The full card for the Sapporo City Tag Titles Tournament show was announced. In addition to the four first-round matches, the lower card will feature several outsides. Yujita and Mikami, a successful team who have been withheld from the tournament due to Yujita's match with Sakaigama on 9/15, will face the troublesome TA-KAHN-OH and the debuting Yum Dum Gai. Dum Gai was announced was "the first of TA-KAHN-OH's students, sent to assassinate wrestling's top stars." TA-KAHN-OH name-dropped "Bad Genome" Kyohei Yamada and sent out a threat to the OCH, recalling Yamada's troubles with "another dojo years ago"...
The second match will feature Japan's Takao Ueshima against Mexico's El Super Rudo II.

He called former partners Yujita, Mikami, and DOKUGA "foolish", and confirmed that he would compete in Hokkaido Puroresu full time as a member of Sakaigama Gumi.

1. Yoshi Yujita beat Masa Adachi (7:04) with a tombstone piledriver. (**)
- The spunky Adachi fought hard against OCH leader Yujita but couldn't stand up to him, going down fairly easily to a tombstone.
2. Jin Hiroto, Yoshihiro Shimoda & Naoyuki Watanabe [FREE] beat Taku Shizuma, Seth Andrews & Nobukazu Niijima [SPG] (13:04) when Watanabe pinned Niijima with a German suplex hold. (**1/2)
- Naoyuki Watanabe debuted for Hokkaido Puroresu proper, teaming with Hiroto and Shimoda to form a formidable combination. The Sakaigama Gumi brought in Niijima once more, but again he proved to be their downfall, Watanabe enzuigiring him before dunking him with the German suplex.
3. KANJI Sakaigama, KEIJI & KAZUKI and Akitoshi Mikami, DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito fought to a double ringout (11:51). (**1/2)
- The war between Sakaigama Gumi and OCH continued, the Gumi once again cheered as technicos (even when KANJI would blatantly cheat). KEIJI began his full-time Hokkaido stay, and once again nearly had Ito with the K-265, but Yujita dropkicked him to the outside. The two teams brawled like before, but this time neither could make it back in before the 20 count.
4. Tsuyoshi Yamamura, Satoru Watanabe & Shinji Oshima beat Yusuke Yuhara, Yuichi Hida & Joshyn Hasagawa (14:29) when Yamamura pinned Hida after a sliding knee kick. (***)
- Sekigun closed the show, the home team producing a quality sprint. Oshima again upped his game, almost pinning veteran Joshyn (who will be his tournament partner) with several cradles. Yamamura debuted a vicious sliding knee kick to put down Hida, who appeared momentarily knocked out afterwards and was checked on by ring doctors.

1. Yoshi Yujita & Akitoshi Mikami beat TA-KAHN-OH [FREE] & Yung Dum Gai [FREE] (04:12) when Mikami made TA-KAHN-OH submit to the Shawn Capture. [1/4*]
- An...interesting...tag match to open things up. TA-KAHN-OH and Yung Dum Gai (who was clearly SPG's Nobukazu Niijima in "disguise") appeared with microphones, TA-KAHN-OH demanding Dum Gai do twenty pushups before the match. Niijima/Gai got off about three before collapsing, TA-KAHN-OH slapping him and demanding more "burning soul"...Yujita and Mikami were not amused, and spent the first two minutes of the match beating them around the ring. Mikami busted TA-KAHN-OH's nose with a kick to the face, after which TA-KAHN-OH reached into his trunks and produced a switchblade(!). He held it threateningly at a shocked Mikami, but upon further inspection the blade appeared to be plastic (...), Mikami charging TA-KAHN-OH (who threw it at his chest to no effect)! Dum Gai leapt off the apron and fled, TA-KAHN-OH attempting to bail out of the ring. Mikami cut him off at the pass, rebounding and locking him in the Shawn Capture for the near instant tapout!
2. El Super Rudo II [FREE] beat Takao Ueshima [FREE] (10:59) with a diving senton. (**3/4)
- A much more serious contest saw the mysterious El Super Rudo II defeat Mexican indy mainstay Ueshima. Lots of slick cradles and interesting submission holds, as well as Ueshima attempting to rip off Rudo's mask. Rudo hit an impressive diving senton Ueshima outside of the ring, before rolling him in and connecting with a regular version for the fall.
3. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT: Jin Hiroto & Yoshihiro Shimoda beat Joshyn Hasagawa & Shinji Oshima (13:01) when Hiroto pinned Oshima after a sankakugamengiri. (**1/2)
- Oshima was fired up for this opportunity, he and stern veteran Hasagawa giving Hiroto and Shimoda a run for their money, but in the end they could not match the "Gods of Hokkaido". Their biggest chance saw Oshima dodge a Shimoda high kick and catch him in a rolling front cradle, but Hiroto kicked him hard in the back of the head to break. Oshima staggered up as if by instinct, Hiroto running up the buckle and taking his head off with a gamengiri.
4. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT: Yusuke Yuhara & Yuichi Hida beat Kotaro Ota [FURY] & Fumihiko Shirai [FURY] (11:11) when Yuhara pinned Shirai after a shotei. (**3/4)
- FURY's Ota and Shirai nearly derailed Yuhara and Hida, but the two fan favorites slipped through with a win. Hida was noticeably a bit sluggish in the beginning, possibly from his scare on the 29th, but fought through and turned in another quality showing. Shirai was isolated early on, but Ota tagged in on fire with dropkicks, clearing the way for the FURY duo to launch stereo bullet topes. The teamwork continued as they isolated Hida, tying him up with a camel clutch/boston crab combo. Later Ota attempted his Violet Spark (Shiranui) on Yuhara but Hida sprung off the ropes as he ran up, dropkicking him in the back as he was inverted, Yuhara using the momentum to chuck him over the top! Shirai came in but Hida tripped him up, Yuhara waiting for him to stand before laying him out with a top-rope spinning heel kick! He covered for a close 2.9 as Hida slid outside to hold Ota back. Yuhara hit the ropes and smacked Shirai with a shotei as he stood, hooking both legs for the win. All four shook hands and bowed to one another afterwards, and Yuhara mentioned that he'd like to face Ota in a singles match when both had "taking their rightful places" in their respective organizations...
5. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT: Tsuyoshi Yamamura & Satoru Watanabe beat Masa Adachi & Seth Andrews (10:40) when Watanabe pinned Adachi after a diving headbutt. (**1/4)
- A bit of a predictable result here, upstarts WataYama derailing the Sakaigama Gumi's bottom two. Adachi continued to impress, however, at one point connecting with a spaceman Masamasa Kakou to Yamamura on the outside. Andrews hit some trademark stunts, but was taken out by a release Dragon suplex from Yamamura. Watanabe slammed Adachi down and hit a diving headbutt, covering for an easy advance.
6. SAPPORO CITY TAG TITLES TOURNAMENT: KAZUKI & Taku Shizuma beat DOKUGA & Yasushi Ito (13:50) when KAZUKI pinned Ito after the Hinotama Bomb. (***)
- The hardest match of the first round to predict was also the hardest fought, the Sakaigama Gumi barely edging out the Osaka City Heidan in another battle. DOKUGA and Ito started strong, overpowering Shizuma in particular and isolating him in their corner. DOKUGA hit a downright scary gorilla toss, throwing Shizuma back-first into the top rope and forcing him to bounce down at a strange angle. Shizuma rolled outside and was checked out by doctors, a fired up KAZUKI leaping in with a springboard dropkick...but DOKUGA held his ground! KAZUKI quickly stood and fired off forearm shots to little effect, DOKUGA grabbing him by the throat and tossing him into the buckle. DOKUGA charged in and attempted to crush him but KAZUKI rolled out of the way, DOKUGA staggering back as KAZUKI sprung off the middle rope with another dropkick, this time taking the monster down! By the time Shizuma took his place back on the apron the treacherous SPG were again being cheered, and "SHI-ZU-MA!" chants began as he tagged back in. Ito tagged in as well, Shizuma charging in and dropkicking his legs out from under him! Unfortunately DOKUGA reappeared as well, ignoring the tag rule to chuck Shizuma right back outside. KAZUKI came in as Ito recovered, but took a dropkick to the face. Ito pulled him to the corner and pointed to the sky, climbing up and leaping for a diving elbow...but KAZUKI rolled out of the way! He pulled Ito up for the Hinotama Bomb, but Ito back-elbowed out. He spun for a _rolling_ elbow...but KAZUKI ducked, lifted him up and dunked him with the Hinotama Bomb anyway, the referee getting off three counts just before DOKUGA pulled KAZUKI out! The crowd cheered loudly for the Gumi, a disappointed DOKUGA throwing a chair. KAZUKI got on the microphone, promising to win the tournament and "finish [his] growth"!

- The stage is set for Hokkaido Puroresu's first country-wide broadcast, and a finalized card was realized. In a press release President Ohmiya said that, like Hokkaido Puroresu as a whole, the theme would be "a chance for ascension". Hinting towards financial trouble, Ohmiya said that this "HOKKAIDO PARADISE" would be a "make-or-break" situation for the group, and urged "all fans of puroresu" to watch...

He said that his decision to join the Gumi and not OCH was out of the respect he still has for Sakaigama and Jin Hiroto who, while not an SPG member anymore, still holds close ties to the group.
